G7 (major advanced economies)

The Group of 7 (G7) is a group consisting of the finance ministers and central bank governors of seven major advanced economies as reported by the International Monetary.
FundCanadaFranceGermanyItalyJapan, the United Kingdom, and the United States meeting to discuss primarily economic issues. 
The European Union is also represented within the G7. The G7 countries represent more than 64% of the net global wealth ($263 trillion)  and their net national wealth and their very high HDI are the main requirements to be member of this group .
The G7 countries also represent the 46% of the global GDP evaluated at market exchange rates and the 32% of the global purchasing power parity GDP.

The next major G7 summit will be held in 2016 in Japan.

Currencies that are used in the G7, or Group of Seven, countries include the U.S. Dollar, Canadian Dollar, Pound Sterling, Japanese Yen and Euro.Of the seven members of the G7, France, Germany and Italy are part of the Euro zone and share the same currency.
